Our reviewers play an essential role in ensuring the quality, rigor, and integrity of the research we publish. If you meet the following criteria, we encourage you to consider becoming a reviewer for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">JIAST<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p><h4><b>1. Educational Background<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Ph.D., Master\u2019s degree, or equivalent advanced degree in agricultural science, technology, or a closely related field.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proven expertise in one or more areas relevant to agricultural science, including (but not limited to) crop science, soil science, agronomy, agricultural engineering, biotechnology, sustainable farming, and food technology.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>2. Research and Publication Experience<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Published at least one research paper in a peer-reviewed journal as a first author or co-author.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Familiarity with the peer review process and a strong understanding of ethical standards in scholarly publishing.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>3. Analytical and Objective Approach<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to critically evaluate scientific research based on methodology, originality, relevance, and quality of results.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commitment to providing objective, fair, and constructive feedback to authors, with recommendations aimed at improving the research quality.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>4. Time Management Skills<\/b><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Capacity to meet review deadlines, typically within 2-4 weeks of receiving a review request.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Willingness to communicate promptly with the editorial team about any potential delays.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4><b>5.
